White oak nightstands

I use quarter sawn solid white oak for these pieces. I use traditional hand cut dovetails for the drawer joinery which creates a very strong drawer and the dovetail joinery pops with the contrasting maple drawer sides. I use a seamless waterfall mitre for the exterior joinery, so the grain of the boards wrap around the sides and top. The drawer pull is crafted of leather and installed with slotted brass screws.
